Obituary of Robert Vernon Todd

Robert "Bob" Vernon Todd passed away peacefully December 14, 2018 at the age of 85 surrounded by his entire family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary, parents Mabel and Harley Todd, his sister Barbara, and his half-sister Frances. He is survived by his daughters Barb (Louis)Turner and Christie (Shawn) Anderson; sons Rob (Lisa) Todd, Michael (Davina) Todd and Adam (Kyla Clark) Todd; grandchildren James (Allison), Joe, Katie, Lindsey, Chris, Emma, Alex, Samantha, and Mikayla; step grandchildren Nicole, Chase, Melley, Mills, Lark; great-grandchildren Charlotte and Owen; step great-grandchildren Travis, Ryleigh, and Lukas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Alex and James Stepka. He was born and raised in Mitchell, Indiana. Bob (Vern) work ed as a buyer for Action Products and Plywood Industries, providing materials to construction companies for many years. He loved his family and cherished time spent with his grandchildren. He taught us to love, live an honorable life, and the healing power of laughter. A special thank you to sixth floor nursing staff and the palliative care team at Fairview Southdale Hospital. A visitation will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Edina Chapel, 7110 France Ave. S. on December 28th from 10-12. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
