Obituary of Jeanne Reid

Age 87 Passed December 12, 2018 peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Jeanne was the youngest of twelve. Ten sisters and one brother. Her parents came here during WWI from Yugoslavia. She was extremely proud of her Serbian heritage, her two sons, Richard and David, her many grandchildren, her home, her gardening, her schnauzers. She was very proud of working 25 years for the federal government. She was a strong, independent, single mother. Preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. Survived by her sons Richard and David, many grand-children and great-grandchildren. The family will be holding a celebration of her life at a future date. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
