Obituary of Jan Dallam Malone

Age 89 of Minnetonka passed away peacefully December 18, 2018. Born in Omaha, NE. Graduate of University of Nebraska. Jan started her adventures after college washing sheets at Lake Hotel, Yellowstone National Park where she met a handsome boy, John at Canyon Park Store where they walked the trails and hitch hiked around the park. Jan and John got married in 1951. Jan loved to travel around the world, where she painted landscapes and visited the Bell Choir behind the Iron Curtain before the Berlin Wall went down, and many other places in Europe and Central America.  She was active in church, choir and volunteer work. Preceded in death by husband, John; parents; brother, John.  Survived by children, Karen Malone, Tom Malone and Anne (Tom) Mauer; grandchildren, Aaron and Scott Peterson; and many friends. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke Presbyterian Church, Minnetonka at a later date.
