Obituary of Jacob Jared Borman

Jacob Jared Borman “Jake” age 40 passed away at his home in Duluth, MN on Friday December 14, 2018. He was born on May 25, 1978 in Park Rapids, MN to Joey and Carrie (Gunkel) Borman. Jake graduated from Denfeld High School.

He is survived by parents Joey and Carrie Borman; daughter Hailey Marie Eales, son J. Alexander Borman; Brother Jason (Kristina) Borman, nieces Annalise, Amira and Zara, Nephew Truid; Grandmother Mary Ann Borman; and special friend Alisha Bliss.

He is preceded in death by Grandparents Joyce and Hugo Gunkel and Alan Borman.

Jake loved music and playing his guitar. Friends have written; “If you knew Jake for any period of time you either loved him or hated him, or sometimes both!  He was charming and confident and we will all miss his dark humor and witty personality.” Jake will be missed by many.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, December 22, 2018 for visitation from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church 4 Elizabeth Av Esko, MN 55733.
