Our beloved Dan, age 35 of Minneapolis, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was employed at Target and thoroughly enjoyed what he did and the people that worked with him. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, as well as his fondness for traveling and buying beer (and traveling to buy beer). An accomplished marathon runner, Dan also loved both making and listening to music, especially death metal bands. As a young boy and throughout his adult years, he continued to be known as the best dressed. Dan would want us to remember the good memories, laugh, and for the fun to continue. Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel and Bernice Molinaro; Owen and Christine Connell. He is survived by his wife, Amanda; mother Patricia of Duluth, MN; father Patrick of Phoenix, AZ; sister Katelyn, also of Duluth; in-laws Robert and Pamela Thickens of Mequon, WI; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He leaves behind an abundance of friends, both personal and professional. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Patrick's Church of Edina on Thursday, December 20, at 11 a.m., with visitation an hour preceding. A celebration of Dan's life will be held at Surly Brewery that afternoon at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
