Obituary of Roy Pritchett

Roy Pritchett, 77, of Afton, passed away surrounded by his family on December 14, 2018. Roy was born on November 19, 1941 to the late Roy and Mary (Riojas) Pritchett. Roy loved fishing and hunting. He was a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Roy enjoyed telling stories about his life and his experiences growing up. He was a loving and caring husband to Lynne, he adored her. Roy was known for being very giving, outspoken, loyal and fair.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ken Pritchett. Roy is survived by his wife of 53 and a half years, Lynne, his children: Bart (Lynn) Pritchett, Billy (Lynn) Pritchett, Paula Guttsen, grandchildren: Valerie (Jeremy) Stickan, Allyson Pritchett, Chad Osterberg, Joshua Pritchett, Marshall Robertson, great-grandchildren: Dylan and Abigail Stickan, sisters: Betty (Myron) Olson, Pat Fretland, Jeanette (Jim) Valentine, as well as many other close family members and friends.

A memorial service for Roy will take place on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Cremation Society of Minnesota—St. Paul, 1979 Old Hudson Road. A one hour time of visitation will take place prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
