Obituary of Patsy I. Holmgren

Patsy I. Holmgren, 90, of Duluth, died peacefully with her family by her side, December 12, 2018.

Patsy loved agate hunting, auctions and playing keno at Fond-du-Luth. She was a member of Grand Portage.

Patsy married Arthur Salo and together they had two children, James Arthur and Michael Paul.

Later in life Patsy married Kenneth Holmgren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Clara Schram; husband, Kenny Holmgren; brothers, Boyde and Bill; and sisters, Maxine and Darla.

Patsy is survived by her children, James (Judy) Salo and Michael Salo; grandchildren, Chad (Stephanie) Vieau, Brian Vieau, Ashley (Zack) Priley; one great-grandchild, A.J. Vieau; and two sisters, June Reponen and JoAnne Woods.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Oaks, Proctor, for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave Patsy. She truly loved you all.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior, Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, in Duluth.
