Meidal, Barbara J. Johnson (nee Cassady)

Age 87, of Bloomington passed away peacefully on Monday, December 10, 2018. Long term employee of St. Mary’s Hospital, Minneapolis. Preceded in death by infant son; first husband, Jerome “Bud” E. Johnson; second husband, Kenneth M. Meidal; and parents, Milo and Irene Cassady. Survived by daughters, Cathy (Mic) Gabel, Jean (Tim) LaRocque, and Patricia (Larry) Spading; grandchildren, Jennifer (Rodney), Monica (Karl), Bridget, Tim (Ashley), Adriana, Michael (Laura), and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Jackson, Owen, Brynn, and Harper; sisters, Sr. Brigida Cassady, CSJ, Mary Jo (Maynard) Benson, and Pamela (Tom) O’Keefe; step-children, Jeffery, Grant, Karol, and Kris. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Celebration of life and interment at a later date.
