Obituary of William Selton

William Selton, 93, of Minneapolis, passed away on December 4, 2018. William was born to William and Agnes (Hornick) Selton in Minneapolis on August 15, 1925. Bill was a WWII veteran, serving on the USS Iowa in the South Pacific during wartime.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, who passed away in 1998, brothers: Joseph, Walter, and Charles, sisters: Marjorie and Irene.

Bill is survived by his sons: Don (Tami) Nelson, Ken (Kathy) Nelson, grandchildren: Kjerstin (Nick) Kersting, Kayla Nelson, Katelyn (Logan) Scanlan, and Kelsey Nelson, great-grandchildren: Jace, McKinley, Dallas, Adelynn, sister: Mildred Montanari, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, many other family members and friends.   

A prayer service for Bill will take place at Cremation Society of Minnesota-- Edina Chapel, on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm with an hour of visitation prior to the service at the funeral home, at 1:00 pm.
