Obituary of Lizbeth Carlson

Lizbeth Anne Rood Carlson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family that she loved so dearly on Saturday, December 1, 2018. Lizbeth was born on June 14, 1947 in Oakland CA to Owen and Alice Rood. She was a graduate of Hopkins High School n 1965 and attended the University of Minnesota for two years. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert and her two beloved children, Marc (Michele) of Live Oak, CA and Jennifer (Aaron) Randolph of Powell, OH; her grandchildren Matthew, Mitchell, Andrew and Claire. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen Rood (Joyce), sisters Karen (Julian) Stevenson and Mary Rood Hendler and two nieces. Lizbeth is predeceased by her parents, brother, Robert Rood and nephew, Craig Stevenson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 11AM at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. So., Edina. The family would like to thank the staff of Providence Place for the care they gave Lizbeth in the many years she resided there. They would also like to thank the St. Croix Hospice, who cared for Lizbeth in her final days.
