Obituary of James D. Marquette

James D. "Jim" Marquette, age 78, of Hastings, passed away November 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Lucille; brothers, Wayne, Roy and Jack. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Barbara of 37 years; his son, Thomas and his wife Dawn; step-children, Michael Ouren and Shelly M. Sarrazin (Steve); grandchildren, Ryan, Kirsten and David Marquette, Brady Fish, Cody and Chloe Ouren; sisters, Marilyn and Linda and many other loving family and friends. Jim was born, October 27, 1940 in St. Michael, Minnesota. He graduated from Moundsview High School. Jim thoroughly enjoyed barbering for 45 years. He enjoyed golfing, MN Vikings and MN Twins. Jim was a loving, husband, father, step-father and grandfather. His patience and kindness will be remembered by all who knew him. Funeral Service Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11 AM Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Apple Valley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Luncheon to follow service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The American Heart Association.
