Obituary of Jeanette Dahlby Payne

Jeanette (Dahlby) Payne, age 90, passed away peacefully on November 22nd.  She was married to Robert Payne. They enjoyed living and raising their family in South Minneapolis, MN.  They retired to Sun City West, AZ, where they made new friends, enjoyed beautiful weather, golf, bridge, garage sales, continued making great lefse and not shoveling snow.  Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.   She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Jeanette is survived by sister Marilyn Saxerud; children Chuck, Jim (Joanne), and Lori (Lee) Anderson; grandchildren, Erik and Christopher Anderson; Tabitha, Samantha, Jessica and great-grandson, Brody Payne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, brother Duane Dahlby, and sister Sibyl Sand. There will be a summer graveside memorial service at Fort Snelling.
