Obituary of David Helmer Anderson

David Helmer Anderson, 80, of Superior died on November 28, 2018.

He graduated from Central High School in 1956 and was employed by American Steel and Wire in Duluth.

In 1964 David went to work for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation of Louisville, KY, as a sales and promotion representative headquartered in Duluth, MN. He traveled extensively in his work retiring with 32 years of service.

In 1973 he married Linda During of Superior. Linda and he owned and trained their Airedale Terriers and competed with them at obedience trials in the USA and Canada.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Linda in 2010; his parents; and one sister. His parents came to this country from Sweden.

He is survived by son, Brian D. (Kathy Eales) Anderson and daughter Kerri House; granddaughter Heather (Sean) Burshem and grandson Derek House; two great-grandsons, Austin and Graham Burshem.

As per David's wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. His remains will be placed with Linda at Greenwood Cemetery in Superior.
