Charles Bujold

Obituary of Charles Hage Bujold

Charles Hage Bujold passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the age of 85.

Chuck was born April 22, 1933 in Duluth to Gerald and Lorna Bujold. He attended Denfeld High School and worked for the DWP Railway as a Carman for over 40 years.

On November 6, 1956 he married Margaret Swanson. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage until Margaret's passing in 2015. They raised three daughters, Kathy (Paul) Skarman, Lori (Mike) McDonald, and Maggie Bujold. Chuck is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Chuck served in the Army during the Korean Conflict with the 87th Engineer Battalion. He loved his dogs and spoiled them; enjoyed family time at his cabin on the Whiteface playing cards and fishing, and he was an avid sports fan who loved the Vikings and Twins.

Special thanks to the staff at Edgewood Vista who, during his short stay there, learned to love one of the sweetest, most kind men ever put on earth, almost as much as we did.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, in Duluth.
