Obituary of Catherine June Van Sloun

Van Sloun, Catherine June (Holie) Age 66, of Edina passed away peacefully at her home on November 18th, 2018, surrounded by her children after succumbing to her short, but fiercely fought battle with cancer. Born on August 14th, 1952 to parents, Elling and Ramona Holie, she was a graduate of Edina High School and the University of Minnesota. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, profound courage, witty sense of humor, and many creative pursuits. Survived by her children, Patrick (Kim), Michael (Allison), Kelly, Keith (Tanya); and her seven grandchildren, Aiden, Mikayla, Ava, Whitney, Olivia, Carter, and Trent; as well as her brother, Charles Holie; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Memorial service to be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 3rd, 2018 at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave S., Minneapolis, MN with visitation
one hour prior to service. Private interment to follow.
