Obituary of Joyce Eileen Franz

Joyce Eileen Franz passed away on November 15, 2018, with family members at her side. She was dearly loved by all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joyce was the youngest of 5 children born to Herman and Hazel Holderman in Indiana. During her early years she lived on her grandmother’s farm. She was employed by Amherst Wilder Residence for over 30 years.

Joyce and her husband Charles raised a family of 5 children in St. Paul, sending them all to Emanuel Lutheran School and St Croix Lutheran High School. Four of her children reside in the Twin Cities, and one in Texas. She also has 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren (and 1 great-granddaughter on the way).

Joyce was a long-time member of Emanuel/Crown of Life Lutheran Church. She loved her Savior, her family, flowers, kittens and puppies, British television, Masterpiece Theatre, and murder mysteries.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, and a brother.

She is survived by her children: Gregory (Lynn), Kathryn (Brent), John (Wanda), Mark (Denise), and Beth (Shane)

grandchildren Michael (Anne), Jenny (Danny), Chris, Rachel (Tom), and Maggie

great-grandchildren Isaak, Nadia, and great-granddaughter currently in progress.

Also sister-in-law Hertha, niece Pam, and other beloved family members and friends.

Celebration of her life is Sat, Dec 1^st at Crown of Life Lutheran Church
