Obituary of Rodger G. Martin

Rodger G. Martin, age 92, of Willow River, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 19, 2018. 71 year member of Plasterers Local #265, formerly Local #65. Preceded in death by his wife, Marlys; parents, Harry and Laura and brother, Harry “Bud.” Survived by his children: Douglas (Carla), Gregory (Sue) and Laurie (Mark); three grandchildren: Scott, Jeff and Rob; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends, including special friend, Mary Jakobs. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2018 at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment following the service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to charity of donor’s choice.
