Obituary of Dennis James O'Hara

Dennis James O'Hara (61) of Superior, WI, passed peacefully on November 18, 2018 at Solvay Hospice House of Duluth, MN. His children and their spouses were by his side.

Dennis was born January 8, 1957 to Robert (Sidney) O'Hara and Margaret (Dot) O'Hara (Oleary) in St. Cloud, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Michael (Mick) O'Hara. He is survived by his children, Eric (Kristal) O'Hara of Duluth, MN; Kristin (Craig Burger) O'Hara of Superior, WI; five very loved grandchildren, Seth, Ryley and Hunter O'Hara and Mya and Cydney Burger; His sister, Patricia (Jerry) Boerboom, and brothers Tim O'Hara, Daniel (Chip) (Vicki) O'Hara and Terry (Chris) O'Hara.

Denny's life was work and family. At times, these two things were synonymous. Starting out in the family Grocery/On/Off Sale business, working long hours at Diamond Clear Ice company with his son, and finally, becoming a partner of Midwest Coin Concepts. This last endeavor was where he stayed, dedicated to giving his family everything he possibly could.

Dedicated. Quick-Witted.... And Stubborn. Denny will be missed deeply and Loved always.

There will be a Gathering of family and friends at the Cremation Society of Duluth, MN (4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN) on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10 am-12 pm. This will be followed by a luncheon held at VIP in Superior, WI (1201 Tower Ave, Superior, Wi) from 12 pm-2 pm. In true Irish fashion, there will then be a Celebration of Life held at Grumpys Tavern in Superior, WI. (3823 East 2nd Street, Superior, WI.) From 2 pm-?.
