Obituary of Akiko Ishikawa Haider

Haider, Akiko Ishikawa, age 91 of Austin, MN. Beloved Mother, passed away at her residence on November 13, 2018. She was born on February 16, 1927, in the City of Ninomiya, in the Tokyo-To prefecture in Japan. Akiko met her husband Michael Haider while he was serving in the military and they were married on February 5, 1957. They returned to the United States in March of 1958 and they had a son Mark. They lived the majority of their lives in White Bear Lake and moved to Austin, MN in 2006 to be closer to their son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Akiko is preceded in death by her husband, Michael; parents Matsuo and Tokie Ishikawa. Akiko is survived by her son, Mark (Laurie) Haider; grandchildren, Michael and Nicole (Tyler). Memorial Gathering Saturday December 1 from 11:30am-1:30pm at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN (612)825-2435. Graveside service at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery Saturday December 1 at 10:00am, meet at assembly area #4.
