Obituary of Susan Rae Jensen

Susan Rae Jensen, 81 of Duluth, passed away on November 12, 2018 while surrounded by family in St. Luke's Hospice. She was born and raised in Minneapolis, spent seven years in Brainerd, and lived in Duluth the past 45 years. She had various jobs throughout her life where she developed lifelong friendships. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, casino bus trips with friends, watching the Twins, and trips to the cabin with family. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Ruth Steward, her brother Tom, sister-in-law Audrey, and brother-in-law Carter. She is survived by her sister Mary Walters of Santa Barbara, daughter Chris Madison (Mark) of Jeffersonton VA, son Mike (Jackie) of Richfield, and daughter Jennifer Pilon (Craig) of Hermantown, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many special friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, November 17, at First Lutheran Church, 1100 E Superior St, Duluth, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church or St. Luke's Hospice Duluth.
