Obituary of Blanche "Dolly" D. Gorder

Blanche "Dolly" D. Gorder, age 82, passed away Saturday morning, November 10, 2018 in Bayshore Health Care Center with family by her side.

She was born in Duluth on April 1, 1936 to William and Josephine Saunders. A life-long resident of Duluth, she was a Para Professional for 23 years at Lincoln Elementary School, providing services to children whom had special needs.

Blanche enjoyed bowling, sewing club, flower gardening, and was gifted with the art of drawing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Gorder; and sons Frank and William "Billy" Gorder.

Blanche is survived by daughters, Betsy Lovold (Gorder) and Brenda Gorder; sons, Clarence "Buddy" Gorder, Bradley Gorder, and Brent (Lynn) Gorder; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Bayshore Health Care Center for your love and care of our mother, and to Essentia Hospice team for comfort care. A special thank you to James "Jim" Crawford for being a good and caring friend all these years.

Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior, Saturday, November 17, 2018 in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth.
