Lyle Selmer Bodin

Lyle Selmer Bodin of Lake City MN passed away November 7, 2018 at St. Crispin Living Community in Red Wing MN. Lyle was born April 10, 1940 in Duluth MN to Arvid and Florence (Peterson) Bodin. Lyle proudly served in the US Navy Seabees 1957-1960. He worked as a welder at Reserve Mining in Silver Bay MN and at Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth. Lyle moved to Lake City in 2014. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, driving trips and visiting with friends.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, son Frederick Bodin, his brother Ronald Bodin and first wife, Judy (Nelson) Bodin. Lyle is survived by his daughter Kimberly Liebert and three grandchildren Autumn, Ross and Juli Liebert of Millis MA, brother Gerald (Sandra) of Lake City, sister-in-law Kay Bodin of Duluth, nephew Chad (Amy) of Duluth, niece Amy (Steve) Jenson of Hermantown, and second wife Nancy Bodin of Ely.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice in Red Wing Mayo Clinic and St. Crispin for their kindness and care of Lyle. Burial plans are pending.
