Obituary of Ivy Jean Laurel

Laurel, Ivy Jean Age 82, of Robbinsdale, born July 16, 1936 in Morpeth, England, passed away peacefully on November 8. Survived by husband of 61 years, Thomas, children Mark (Jackie) and James (Bobbie), grandchildren Jeremy, Justin, Marisa and Michael, BFF Christina Gannon and many nieces and nephews in the UK. Preceded in death by parents Edgar and Frances Wise, siblings Kathleen, Hilda and Leslie. Ivy grew up in Farnborough, England, and met Tom during his time in the U.S. Army. They married in 1957 and resided in the UK until moving to MN in 1962, where they settled and raised their family. After many years as a home maker, Ivy found her calling as a rep for Calvin Klein perfumes. She loved traveling to Florida, and was able to make many trips to visit family back in the UK. Our family thanks the staff from St. Therese at St. Odilia and Ecumen hospice for easing Ivy's final days. A celebration of Ivy's life will be held at a later date.
