Hemamala Samaratunga, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9th at her home surrounded by family. Dearly beloved wife of late Saliya, beloved mother of Priyantha Samaratunga, Thakshila Pathagamage, and Krishanthi Jayasuriya, mother-in-law of Piyumi Samaratunga, Sisira Pathagamage, and Priyalal Jayasuriya, dearly beloved grandmother of Nath, Melinda, and Brooke Samaratunga, Nuwan and Nevin Pathagamage, Ashan, Anne, and Timothy Jayasuriya. Funeral, Buddhist religious service, and cremation today Sunday, November 11th, 2018 at Minnesota Cremation Society — 4343 Nicollet Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55409.
