Obituary of Patrick Terrance Fahey

Patrick Terrance Fahey, 77, died Oct 26th after a short illness with bone cancer. He was surrounded by a loving and grateful family; wife Zelda, daughters, Jennifer, Jane (Dave) Long; son, Thomas and adoring grandchildren, whom he cherished, Patrick, Clare, Megan and Kate Long, Dylan and Tatum Fahey. Survived by sisters Kathleen and Maureen. Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Percine and brother, Michael. He was a graduate of Northfield High School class of 1959 and UMD 1965. A loyal and true friend who was always available to listen, help and advise. Pat was a magnificent teacher of Mechanical Engineering for 40 years at Normandale Community College where he coached and counseled thousands of thankful students. Pat accomplished life his way, and what a beautiful and kind way he did it. Mass of Christian burial Wed. Dec 19 12:00 noon. Visitation 1 hour prior. Reception to follow Mass.
