Obituary of Marvin G. Hintsa

Marvin G. Hintsa, 89, of Duluth, MN passed away on Thursday, October, 2018 in his home.

He was born on March 29, 1929 in Duluth to George and Alice Hintsa. Marvin was a lifelong Duluthian. He graduated from Duluth Central High School.

Marvin was drafted into the Army in 1951 and served in the Korean War with the 13th Combat Engineers Battalion. He retired from International Union of Operating Engineers Local #49 after 40 years.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon; and their infant daughter, Debbie Lee.

He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Gary), Vicki (Gary), Sandi, and Nancy (Timm); brother, LeRoy; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A private family service was held on Wednesday, October 31st at Cremation Society of Minnesota, in Duluth.
