Obituary of Stuart Philip Vandenberg

Age 74 of Mound passed away November 1, 2018. Born in Chicago, IL. Graduate of University of Iowa College of Pharmacy (1967). After many years as a practicing pharmacist at Keaveny Drug in Navarre, Stu transitioned to a new position as a pharmacy surveyor for the MN Board of Pharmacy. Outside of work, Stu was active in the church choir and bell choir. He also enjoyed traveling around the world and around the country with family and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Judy. Survived by children, Mike (Sara) Vandenberg, Sara (Mari) Vandenberg and Chris Arneson; grandson, Hudson Vandenberg; sister, Sue (Al) Stampfly; his significant other, Carol Utterberg.  Memorial Service Thursday, November 8th, 11:00 am with visitation 10:00 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2451 Fairview Lane, Mound. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the St. John’s Foundation.
