Raymond Otto Rybos Sr.

Raymond Otto (Nunny) Rybos Sr. 89, Passed away 28th October 2018 in the Solvay Hospice House. Raymond was born on 1st of Sept. 1929 in Duluth, MN to Otto Ryobas and Esther Heikkila. Raymond graduated from Morgan Park High School. He served in the U.S. Army/Airforce as a Sgt. He was married to Susan Quinn in May of 1954. They raised 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters. Raymond worked for the DMIR, US Steel, Interlake Iron and lastly The International Longshoreman's Association of Duluth/Superior which he retired from in 1985. Ray was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Superior Trap Shooting Club and a Member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. Ray was preceded in death by his Father Otto Ryobas, Mother Esther Ryobas, Son Raymond Rybos Jr. Ray is survived by his Wife Susan Rybos, his Children Christy and John Wenberg, Colleen and Larry Ericksmoen, Joseph and Debra Rybos. His Grandchildren Amanda Wenberg and Jeff Foline, and Ally Rybos. The family would like to thank St, Mary's Hospital Hospice and the Solvay Hospice House for helping to make Ray's last days here as comfortable as possible.
