Obituary of Curt Douglas Ihnen

Age 60 of Crystal, MN passed Tuesday, October 30^th, 2018 in the presence of family. Curt grew up in Sheldon, IA and is a graduate of Wartburg College, Waverly, IA. Curt started in the restaurant business as a bus boy at the Iron Horse Supper Club in Sheldon working his way up through management. For the last 35 years Curt has resided in Mpls and was a seafood broker for American Fish and Seafood, Inc. He was a friend to many owners and chefs in the Midwest region. He is preceded in death by his parents Ontke and Anita, and his sister Carla. He is survived by his brother Craig and sister-in-law Susan, and his three nieces Megan, Courtney, and Rebecca. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:30PM, Sunday, November 4th at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave S. Mpls, MN with a visitation 1 hour prior.  In lieu of flowers memorial preferred. The family would like to express gratitude to the medical community for their skill and care of Curt.
