Obituary of Muriel Ilene Johnson

Muriel Ilene Johnson, born September 18, 1934 in Superior, WI to Edward and Lorraine Hanson left us to live with her Heavenly Father on October 18, 2018 at 5:15 p.m. in St. Luke's Hospital.

She graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1952. Muriel worked at the Arnold Elementary School and volunteered helping with many places, after retirement. The place she most loved to volunteer at was Bay Shore Nursing Home.

Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Johnson; her parents Edward and Lorraine Hanson; her brother, Clarence Hanson; and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Harrington.

She is survived by her sons, Otto Harrington and Roger (Ann) Harrington; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two grandsons-in-law; and a granddaughter-in-law.
