Obituary of Scott A. Kipp

Scott A. Kipp, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully surrounded by dear family and friends on October 22, 2018 at the age of 59. Preceded in death by parents, Aaron Kipp, Jr. and Betty Kipp; sister, Linda Klawitter; brother-in-law, Dan Campbell. Scott worked for 28 years as a city planner for the City of Eden Prairie; leaving in 2013 after a diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer's disease. Scott enjoyed swimming, biking, and exploring the countryside on his motorcycle. He obtained his commercial pilot's license and had a passion for aviation that led him to serve on the Metropolitan Airports Commission and the Flying Cloud Airport Advisory Commission. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marianne; daughters, Chelsea and Katie; brothers, Roger Kipp and Glenn Kipp; sisters, Nancy (Jim Schagh) Kipp and Karen Campbell; loving caregiver, Julie Sorensen; along with many other relatives and friends. Visitation Sunday 1-3 PM and memorial service Sunday 3 PM at Cremation Society of Minnesota-Edina, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina.
