Obituary of Carol Bubb

On Sunday, October 21st, 2018, Carol Ann (Bernard) Bubb, loving wife, mother, and friend, passed away at the age of 61 in Duluth, MN. Carol was born on December 21st, 1956 in Grand Forks, ND to Ray and Mabel (Olson) Bernard. On July 17th, 1976, Carol married the love of her life, Bruce Bubb. They raised one son, Bryan Bubb, of Duluth, MN, who was born in 1983. The couple moved to Duluth, MN in 1977 and in that same year, Carol started her career at North Shore Bank where she would work for 37 years, holding many different positions, most recently Operations Manager, until her retirement. Carol had a passion for hand crafts. She was a talented cross-stitcher and accomplished in the art of beadery. Carol was also fond of coloring and painting. She enjoyed evenings around the fire pit (a gift from her dear friend Anne) in the back yard. Carol had an affection animals, with an affinity for dogs. She also loved antiques and pottery. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Ray, and her mother, Mabel. She is survived by her husband, Bruce, her son, Bryan, her sister, Ellen (Allen) Lukes, and her brother, Gordon Bernard. No service will be held per Carol's wishes.
