Obituary of Doris Shadinger

Doris (Dorie) Shadinger, age 93 of Edina passed away on October 15, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ross (Shad) Shadinger. Dorie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother. She and her husband owned and operated Shadinger Construction Inc. in Edina for over 30 years. They also spent many winters in North Fort Myers, FL and traveled the world on their many vacations. Dorie is survived by daughters, Sandra (Paul) Shadinger of North Fort Myers, FL and Judie Solomon of Littleton, CO; granddaughter, Allison (Mark) Erickson; two great-granddaughters, Ada and Lily of Park City, UT; brother, Mark (Judie) Z. Jones of Wayzata, MN, and four nieces and their extended families. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 24 at 2 PM at Friendship Village, 8106 Highwood Dr., Bloomington, MN 55438.
