Obituary of Christopher L Patin

Patin, Christopher L. On Friday, October 12, 2018, Chris Patin, loving husband and father of two young daughters, passed away peacefully at the age of 46 after a 3 year battle with ALS. His life was cut too short, but he lived it to the fullest. In June, 1997, he married Julie Thelen and they have been raising two wonderful daughters, Abigail and Samantha. Chris was devoted to his girls, making special efforts to attend their hockey games, cheer competitions, and school events. He had a passion for cars, gadgets, and new technology; his wife often referring to him as "MacGyver." Chris had a somewhat mischievous sense of humor of which his family and many friends can share stories and will cherish the laughter and many memories. Chris will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Julie; their daughters Abigail and Samantha; his dog Marlee and cat Mindy; his parents Pam and Tim Loehlein; his grandmother Cleone Feeny; his Aunt Deb Feeny; his uncle Steve (Kathy) Feeny; father in-law Leonard (Jeanette) Thelen; brother in-law Lenny Thelen (Liz); sister in-law Sharon Weaver (Joe); brother in-law Jason (Erica) Thelen; his dear cousins, nieces and nephews; the "RPC"; his "brothers" and many other friends who loved him. Funeral service is Wednesday, October 17 at 3:00 PM with visitation starting at 1:00 PM at Word of Peace Church (21705 129th Ave. N.) in Rogers, MN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make a Wish or any children's charity of your choice in honor of Chris.
