Obituary of Ida Mae (Bittner) Kassow Schumacher

Ida Mae, age 90, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Bel Rae Senior Living in Mounds View. She is a former resident of Shoreview and Fridley. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest and Marie Bittner, two husbands: Ervin Kassow (1984) and Norman Schumacher (2018), and two brothers: Dick and Gil Bittner. She is survived by her loving family.  Children: Candy Kassow, Craig (Cathy) Kassow, Mindy (Clay) Andreasen, Mike (Callie) Kassow, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and brother Frank (Lorraine) Bittner. Visitation: Tuesday, October 16, 6-8 pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park. Memorial service:  Wednesday, October 17, 11 am, at St. Williams Catholic Church, 6120-5^th Street NE, Fridley, with visitation one hour prior. Luncheon to follow.  Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
