Obituary of Isabelle Oldfield

Isabelle (Embury) Oldfield, passed away on October 3, 2018 at 94 years of age in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Isabelle was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls until relocating to Minnesota in summer 2018. Isabelle was the daughter of Raymond and Orpha (Mears) Embury ,and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Isabelle loved her work as an elementary school secretary at Pacific Avenue and 79th Street schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Niagara Falls and the LaSalle Literary Society. Isabelle was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by Thomas A. Oldfield, her husband of 65 years, in 2011. Survivors include son, Thomas R. Oldfield; daughters, Joyce Oldfield and Laurie (Laurent) Dechery; grandchildren, Quentin (Kay) and Joseph Dechery; great-granddaughter, Remy Dechery; sister, Joyce VanMeer; and several nieces and nephews.
