Obituary of Georgianna T. (Maddock) Swanson

It is with a heavy heart that the famiy of Georgianna said goodbye as she passed peacefully on September 15, 2018 after a courageous 10 month battle with cancer. She was born August 1, 1938 in Minneapolis to George (Red) and Theresa Maddock. She worked at "The Lex" for 30 plus years where she left an indelible mark. She lived in Winona and Port Charlotte, FL with her partner, Nick Deones. Georgianna loved life, laughing, music, dancing, a good martini, but above all, her children. Preceded in death by her parents, former husband, Gary, her brother, John and son-in-law, Paul Blumer. Survived by daughters, Carrie and Paula Blumer; sons, Chris (Brenda) and Michael (Michelle); 7 grand-children; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Judith Michalski and Jeff Maddock, along with a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to her loving caregivers at NC Little Hospice in Edina, MN. A private service is planned.
