Obituary of Evelyn Leona Windschitl

Evelyn Leona Windschitl, age 85, of North Mankato, passed away September 27, 2018 at Oak Terrace Assisted Living, North Mankato. Evelyn was born on January 29, 1933 in Stanchfield, MN to George and Alice Forsberg. She graduated from Rush City High School in 1951. Evelyn married her loving husband Richard on January 28, 1967. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents George and Alice, siblings Ethel (Vilo) Hanson, Edith (Lindy) Lindgren, Mary Eklund, and Gerald Forsberg. She is survived by her children Mark Windschitl and Mona (Mike) Platt and loving grandchildren Alyssa Platt, Nikolette Platt, Ethan Windschitl, and Logan Windschitl, and brother-in-law Harold Eklund, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial gathering Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Cologne Community Center, 1211 Village Parkway, Cologne, MN 55322. Private interment Calvary Cemetery, Mankato.
