Obituary of Debra Marie Reilly

Debra Marie Schmitz Reilly 61 of Duluth, MN passed away September 22, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Debra was born April 27, 1957 to Carol and Jim Schmitz. Debra's love for people and her 29 years of sobriety led her to pursue her LPN career at LSC in Duluth. She went on to work at Duluth Detox and the VA Clinic in Superior, WI.

She was Grandma Debbie to all the children that knew her. She was preceded in death by her dad Jim Schmitz, mother-in-law Lillian Reilly, cousin Kay Sisto, her children of her heart Tina Reilly and Jenell Sherman.

She is survived by her mother Carol Schmitz, sister Mary (Mark) Peterson, brother Michael (Luanne) Schmitz, daughters Lori and Rhonda Reilly and son Marcus Childs, daughter from her heart Jessica DeGrio, all of Duluth; grandchildren Mya Jade, Jessica Reilly, Corey, Hali and Lily Reilly, Cody, Taylor and Jon Heinecke and many other grandchildren from the heart too numerous to list. Best friends in her life include Judi and Bob Gaskill, Kathy Elden, Kira Kallberg, Janet and Chet Tobolaski.

Visitation will be at the Cremation Society of Minnesota located at 4100 Grand Avenue in Duluth on Thursday, September 27th at 2:00 p.m. followed by a service at 3:00 p.m.
