Obituary of John J. Dietrich

Of South St. Paul & Port Charlotte, FL "Papa", age 90, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2018. He immigrated from Austria after WWII. Preceded in death by Elizabeth, wife of 65 years. Survived by sons, William (Tracy), Michael (Debbie), Robert (Cheri); grandchildren, Amy (Dan), Jonathan (Susan), Stacy (Paul), Jason (Carolyn), Shannon (Pat), Courtney (Michael) & Jourdan (Blake); 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Theresa and brother Karl (Barbara) of Canada, sister-in-law Hermine Murphy, and many other family & friends. His greatest pride was his family and America. He worked hard to create a legacy for all to enjoy. A memorial service will be held in his honor Saturday, September 29th at Crossroads Church, 7955 Ivystone Ave. Cottage Grove, MN 55016 at 11AM with a gathering one hour prior to service. Private interment at Fort Snelling Cemetery. A special thanks to HealthEast Hospice Care.
