Obituary of Raymond Hickey

Raymond (Butch) Hickey, died Saturday September 15, 2018 at Keystone Bluffs, Duluth.

He was born March 1, 1937 to Ray and Gertrude Hickey in Duluth.

Butch was the owner and operator of Santerre Service Trucking. After selling the business and in retirement, he was a cross country truck driver for touring bands and musicians. When driving became too much he became a port security guard where he met many interesting people from around the world. His final retirement job was security guard for the Duluth Auto Club. He was a classic car enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Bernadette and son Michael.

Butch is survived by daughters, Terri (Richard) Kronzer, Solon Springs,WI, Toni (David) Newman, Superior, WI, RaeAnn (Dan) Johnson, Duluth, MN; brothers Roger Hickey, Tim Hickey, Tom Hickey, Dennis Hickey and sister, Bonnie Carlson; nine grandchildren.

Per his wishes there will be no services.
