Obituary of Margarite Florence Clawson

Margarite Florence Clawson, 76, went home to Jesus on Jan. 10, 2018 after a short Hospice stay at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center. Born Sept. 6, 1941, a life-long resident of Cloquet, Margarite married John Clawson in 1968. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Violet Lee; and brother, Donald. Margarite is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Julie (Strand) Anderson and Elaine (Strand) Scofield; two step-sons, Todd Clawson and Bruce Clawson; three granddaughters; two grandsons; one great-grandson; sister, Joan McDowell; and two nieces and one nephew. Margarite wishes to thank her bowling team for their friendship and support and her church friends for continued prayer. A family graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
