Obituary of Frances M. Zimski

Frances M. Zimski (Andrys),loving mother and grandmother, age 83, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Mary's/Essentia Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. She was born December 19, 1934 to Francis and Cecelia Andrys in Duluth, MN. She attended St. Peter & Paul Catholic School and Church and graduated from Denfeld High School in 1952. Frances married John Zimski in 1955 and raised 2 children, Julie and Steven. She was a member at St. Michael's Church. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Eugene and John. She is survived by her husband John of 62 years; daughter Julie (John) Cosler; son Steven (Linda)Zimski; grandchildren Jackie, Amy and Sarah Zimski and Vincent Cosler; brother, Ernest Andrys; sister, Arlene Bonner; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, January 27th at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN with a visitation beginning at 2 pm.
