Obituary of Lorraine M. Johnson

Lorraine M. Johnson, 90, of Duluth, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 surrounded by family at Golden Oaks of Proctor. Lorraine was born in East Superior on May 12, 1927 to Clifford and Clara (Roseberry) Johnson. From a young age, Lorraine loved to cook. She cooked at bible camps, the Y and also owned her own caf early on. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends at her home on Sturgeon Lake. She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd; son Don; 2 infant daughters, Sandy and Tammy; sister Jane; brothers, Richard and Dede and daughter-in-law Connie. Lorraine is survived by her children, Jackie, Dick (Paula), Terry, Jody, Jimmy; grandchildren, Tammy (Dave), Josh (Kelly), Robby (Jessica), Jeremy (Laura), Patty (Max), Miranda (Kelly), Michelle (Steve), Troy, Nicole (Max), Sammy and Kayle; 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Timothy Kleinschmidt and the staff of Golden Oaks (Proctor) for the care they provided Lorraine. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 pm until the 2 pm memorial service on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Mission Creek Church (formerly Fond du Lac Community Church) 521 131st Ave W, Duluth, MN 55808.
