Obituary of Ann Mary Thomas

Ann Mary Thomas of Duluth, MN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was 91 years old. Ann was born to Clarence and Mary Vedder on September 26, 1926, the oldest of 15. She is preceded in death by her parents, numerous siblings, her beloved husband of 46 years, John J. Thomas Sr., infant daughter Katherine, daughter-in-law Barbara Jean Thomas, stepson Roger Thomas. Ann is survived by children Greg (Lynn) Thomas, John J. (Gretchen) Thomas, Jr., Lawrence (Nancy) Thomas, Cathy Thomas, Gary Thomas and Mary Thomas; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. The family wants to thank St. Ann's and Franciscan Health Care for everything. The family also wants to thank Larry and Nancy Thomas for their dedicated care of Ann. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 22, 2018 at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN with a visitation beginning at 9:00 am. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Duluth, MN at a later date.
