Obituary of Ernest E. Anderson

Anderson, Ernest E. (Andy) Age 84, of Blaine passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on January 21, 2018. Andy touched many hearts in his life. He was a brilliant man with a fun sense of humor. He saw beauty in everything. He was a kind and loving husband and a great father and grandfather. He was always involved with his wife and family - coaching his kids in all their sports when they were young, offering love and support to them as adults, and was a huge part of his grandson's lives. Family meant everything to him. Andy served in the Navy as a young man, traveling around the world three times. It was an experience he enjoyed and was proud of. Andy and his wife Marietta, loved to travel across the states. They played softball together, enjoyed bowling, playing darts, and going to Las Vegas. Andy loved sports of all kinds, and was a Gopher Little League Baseball coach for many years, traveling to other countries (including the Little League World Series in Japan) - and helping kids appreciate the sport. Andy was fortunate to take an early retirement and enjoyed 30 years of Summers at the lake cabin - his favorite place to be. He loved fishing, being on the water, and watching the wildlife in his yard. He will live in our hearts and memories forever. He'll always be our best guy. 143 Dad Preceded in death by wife, Marietta; parents; 3 sisters. Survived by children, JayDee (Brad) Mahs, Jay, Joel, Jason (Anna); grandchildren, Tanner, Tarren, Trennar; 3 brothers and extended family and friends. Services will be held at a later date in Lima, WI. Interment Most Holy Rosary Cemetery in Lima, WI.
