Obituary of Roland E. Taylor

Roland E. Taylor, 85, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born July 22, 1932 in Ironwood, MI to Lillian and Everett Taylor. In 1954 he married Jacqueline, his wife of 63 years. Roland retired from the Duluth Post Office in 1992. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and camping, but his true passion was spending time with his family and friends. His gentle loving manor will be missed by us all. Roland is survived by his wife, Jackie; sons, Scott and Randy; daughter, Kim (Greg) Thompson; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Funeral Service, Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth. Interment will be at Oneota Cemetery.
