Obituary of Carole Ann Paavola

Carole Ann was born on January 2, 1948 in Faribault, MN. She was the 6th of 8 children born to Edward and Emma (Forcelle) Paquette. She was a graduate of Bethlehem Academy class of 1967. After high school she started working in the dental industry and moved to the cities with her sister Mary in the early 70’s. She met the love of her life Richard Paavola in 1972 and was married on July 18th, 1975. This union was an instant family as she also welcomed her son Joe into their family on this day. In 1977 she completed a vocational program and became a certified dental assistant. On November 17, 1977 she gave birth to her first daughter Lisa and second daughter Kristi on March 2, 1979. She became a stay at home mom until both girls entered school then, continued her work as a dental assistant. On February 13th, 1986 she suffered a brain aneurism and two strokes shortly after surgery. She started physical therapy and learned how to walk, talk and write again even after her doctors said she never would. She once again became a stay at home mom caring for her three children and home. She later welcomed her first grandchild James and set out to be the best grandmother possible. Two additional grandchildren; Jackson and Aubree followed later. She continued caring for those she loved and her home until her death. A memorial service to honor Carole will be held on Saturday February 10, 2018 at the Cremation Society of Minneapolis located at 4343 Nicolette Ave South in Minneapolis. The gathering will begin at 10:30 and service to follow at 11:00.
