Obituary of Harold Ramon Rutstein

Rutstein, Harold Ramon 01/26/1930-08/25/2018, born in Sioux City Iowa. Moved to Hibbing, Minnesota at the age of 3 and graduated from Hibbing High School and Hibbing Junior College. Honorably discharged from USMCR. Married the love of his life Harriette Fae Heiligman 9/1/1951. Harold was a 32nd degree Mason, member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner with the Zuhrah Temple, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served on several community boards in Minneapolis and St. Paul. He was Executive Vice President and COO of Griggs, Cooper & Company of St. Paul, Minnesota. He worked in the wine and spirits industry since 1955, and exclusively with Griggs, Cooper & Company from 1967 through 2012. Harold is survived by his three daughters, Mary Beth (Phillip) Kibort; Chelle (Tony) Woolley; Marissa (David) Upin; and son Victor (Ellie) Rutstein. Harold was so proud of his grandchildren, Jesse (Cym) Kibort; Adam (Nancy) Kibort; Jonathan Kibort; Andrew (Kristin) Woolley; Joe (Reena) Woolley; Matthew Woolley; Alana Woolley; Jacob Woolley; Cole Rutstein; Griffin Rutstein; Jed Rutstein; David Rosenblum; Alex (Rachel) Rosen-blum; Charlie Rosenblum. He adored his three great-granddaughters, Julia Kibort; Audrey Kibort and Molly Kibort. Harold has requested a private service for immediate family, "doing it my way". In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Harold can be made to Disabled Veterans (DAV) or Children's Minnesota Foundation.
