Obituary of Mark Durand

Mark Alan Durand, of Eagan, Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Mark was born to parents Willard and Louise (Sande) Durand on November 6, 1945 in Duluth, Minnesota. Mark lived for a short time in Mankato and Minneapolis, Minnesota. After his marriage to Sylvia Odegaard on August 5, 1972, they moved to Eagan, MN. He established his business, Eagan General Repair in 1983. His business legacy will continue with his son Brent managing the operations. Mark is survived by his wife and partner, Sylvia; two sons, Mark Jr. of Long Prairie, MN and Brent, wife Amy and daughter Lauren of Belle Plaine, MN; sister, Janet (Dwight) Schultz; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, brother (Buddy) and other family members. Visitation and a service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, First Memorial Chapel, 7110 France Avenue, Edina, Minnesota 55435. The visitation will be at 10:30AM. The service will be at 11:00AM. Lunch will be provided at a gathering of family and friend following the service at Eagan General Repair, 3650 Kennebeck Drive, Eagan, Minnesota 55122.
